Hello, my name is Melissa Baksh and I’m an Art Historian, Writer, Educator and Radio Host/DJ based in London. I love art history, museums & galleries, and am passionate about making art accessible to a wide range of audiences. As an arts professional, I have delivered talks, tours and workshops in the Hayward Gallery, National Gallery, Wellcome Collection and National Gallery of Umbria.
In 2019 I founded In Tune Art Tours: original, innovative audio-sensory art tours. I use music to facilitate longer-looking and to offer a more immersive, mindful experience. Sharing my specialist knowledge in such a unique way leads to deeper engagement with art works.
I’m always looking for new projects, commissions and collaborations. If you have an idea, I’d love to hear from you.
My name’s Verity, I’m a recent Oxford graduate (with a BA in History of Art), artist liaison at Rise Art, and writer and podcast host for Art Plugged. I have a YouTube channel where I host ‘Art Laughs’, a series of interviews with comedians about their favourite works of art. Accessibility in the artworld is paramount to my work, and I’m particularly focussed on promoting this through Aurelia Arts Festival. I hope to eventually go into broadcasting.
