Networking is more than just finding clients, it’s about finding your cheerleaders and supporters. Every day this week we’re Showcasing...
Every Monday we showcase the best of the UnderPinned Community, putting a spotlight on two freelancers whose work we believe deserve a special mention.

My name’s Adèle Leyris. I am a Franco-English illustrator and designer based in London with over 12 years of experience. Passionate about Nature and the human form, I work on lifestyle, fashion and botanical projects, essentially using watercolour (as well as oil pastels and embroidery, to create contrasts of expression!). I love contrasting old fashioned techniques with modern colours or compositions.
I am also comfortable animating my work and brush lettering as it can help bring to life the story I’m telling.
My name’s Isabel Sachs. I am a project manager with over ten tears of experience working across brands experiences, music, dance, visual arts and theatre in Brazil, Poland, UK and beyond. I have founded and sold an international production agency based in Brazil before moving to London for a Masters in Culture, Policy and Management.
Some of my favourite projects to date have been the Converse Rubbertracks festival, producing a major film festival in Poland, getting a play for young audiences to tour for over three years across the country, and getting a new band to become an award-winning and established name in the Brazilian culture.
I love being around artistic big ideas and making them a reality. I also have a content curation platform and newsletter and will soon launch a mentoring & networking programme for the cultural industry to improve its diversity, so watch this space and subscribe to the newsletter to hear more!.
