The UPload: Alastair Shuttleworth of The Bristol GERM

What makes you creative? What’s the first thing you do when they wake up? What inspires you? Our Day in the Life series follows some of our favourite freelancers through a normal day of doing their spectacular work.

Bristol has long been a vibrant hub for creativity, and publisher and journalist Alastair Shuttleworth wants to show that. His illustrated magazine, The Bristol GERM, showcases the underpublicized music coming out of the city. Alastair talked with us at UnderPinned HQ about the joy of taking risks and giving a platform for non-pop music artists.

Directed by Alexander Chai

We champion the freelancers and every entrepreneur who took a leap of faith with their idea.

If this sounds like you, head over to our Virtual Office and send us your best work via an UnderPinned Portfolio. We want to hear from you!
