In an effort to keep you updated about our movements here at UnderPinned, we are writing weekly letters so that you can stay informed about what to expect from us.

Last week was a brilliant start for the UnderPinned magazine, featuring some beautiful work from Kate Leaver and Deborah Talbot, illustrations by the talented Ailsa Johnson and Will Francis, and the start of some excellent reviews. We also were extremely excited to start our many Faces of Freelancing with the brilliant Virgin Xtravaganzah and to continue the series this week too.

We are very happy to bring to you our first regular column writer, Neil Davey, who will write on food for freelancers, bringing you the best options for quick and interesting food in London. UnderPinned is also publishing a piece by Ronan O’Shea on the highs and lows of travel writing, with an illustration from Jonathan Vermersch and a piece on freelancing as a student by Lucy Banks.

With the tech, we are making giant leaps behind the scenes to bring you a virtual office experience in the coming months. This week we are developing the digital portfolio and contacts management tools, as well as starting to populate our information centre where you can ask any and all questions about freelancing. Head over to our member’s area to pre-register and get early access to your very own virtual office. We are really excited about releasing this, so as soon as the first section is ready to ship you’ll get access to it.

Enjoy this weeks content and releases!
